Golden Hour Engagement in Everett, Washington

When Karston reached out to me and asked if I would be his and Avery's engagement photographer, I didn't need any time to decide yes.  I've had the joy of knowing Avery for just about two years and love every moment of being her friend.  Documenting this sweet season in her and Karston's life was a delight.

Karston proposed at the end of a winding walking trail just outside of Everett, Washington.  Golden hour light washed everything in the most delicious pink and peach hues.  The Olympic Mountains were visible across the Puget Sound.  And blackberries were so ripe we could smell them in air.

Days after their engagement (well, even still today), I kept telling my friends, "I don't think I've ever smiled so hard photographing two people before."  Avery and Karston's love for each other is so sweet and safe.  The whole evening, they were brimming with contagious joy.  I'm completely thrilled to photograph their Pacific Northwest wedding next August at Pretty Bird!
