Adalyn Joy
Hello, I'm Adalyn,
a PNW baby who grew up with one foot in the Puget Sound and the other in the Cascades. I believe with fervor each of us are designed to cultivate rich, storied lives with our Creator that bear beautiful fruit for generations.
Setting the table and feeding people in my home thrills me. So do drives up North on bendy highways, and playing an open E chord on my guitar. One day, I will have a dairy cow and make my own butter. The Holy Spirit is my best friend and I'm convinced if you meet him you will be best friends with him, too.
If you come over to my house, you can find me in my kitchen baking sourdough. We can exchange playlists and stories while drinking espresso.

Storytelling
What we often dismiss as 'simple' is actually what captivates us the most.
Concrete details in a photograph or piece of writing are arrows to the heart. Which is why I pay attention constantly and look for what makes sense: the normal, daily details and delights of your life.
Generosity
Documenting your story is a privilege I treat as a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. I don’t cut corners, and set out to create work that is true to you and unlike anything else I’ve done before. I believe “we are enriched in every way to be generous in every way” (2 Cor. 9:11), which means I have a responsibility to keep my gifts strong by serving others with them.
